A host of global stars are in Monaco for the IAAF Awards, including Ethiopian world record holders Almaz Ayana and Genzebe Dibaba. The two had contrasting seasons in 2016. Where Ayana dominated in the long-distance track events, Genzebe battled injuries and only just managed silver in the 1500 m at the Olympics.
