Manual resuscitator is often used to help patients with dyspnea or cardiopulmonary resuscitation. It contains a mask, a breathing bag and the resuscitator itself. These parts are available in different sizes. There are three capacities of resuscitator, namely 280ml (infant), 550ml (child) and 1500ml (adult).
The silicone manual resuscitator can be reused, but it must be sterilized after each use. The use of respirators requires professional training.
